How do I know my money is safe with Ivobank?

We have implemented a number of security measures to give you confidence when you use your Ivobank Account.

Encryption
We use banking industry standard encryption methods to secure your personal information. Your information is held on computers in our secure data centres and it is encrypted before it is sent over the internet to ensure it cannot be read if intercepted.

3D Secure
Provided in association with Mastercard & Visa. These authentication programs protect your card against unauthorised use when you shop online at participating retailers. If you make a purchase in a shop, you enter a PIN number or sign a receipt to validate the transaction. Mastercard Secure Code & 'Verified by Visa' imitate this process over the Internet by providing a digital receipt that you sign off with your own personal password.

We log you out if you haven't used the service for 10 minutes
If you don't use your online banking service for 10 minutes you will automatically be logged off. This provides added security if you leave your PC unattended or forget to log out.

If you make a number of incorrect attempts to log in, we will disable your access
Access to your online banking service will be disabled if there are a number of incorrect attempts to log on. This will protect you against fraudsters trying to get access to your account by guessing your authentication details. If you've forgotten your log on details please click on the 'forgotten password and PIN' links to reactivate your account.
