The Ivobank Virtual Debit Card is a secure online debit card that is linked to your Ivobank Account. It works just like your plastic debit card but it generates a unique card number every time a transaction is made so you never have to expose your personal bank account or credit card details over the internet again.

Shopping at your fingertips

As your Virtual Debit Card is online you'll never have to look for your purse or wallet when you’re at the cashier page. The Virtual Debit Card will pop up on your screen to ask if you want to use your Ivobank account to pay, just enter your user name and password and a unique card number will be generated which you can use to make your purchase. The money will then be debited from your Ivobank account. You can even set a maximum limit on the card for each transaction so it can only be used up to the amount you specify. You can use the autofill function to quickly enter your details. Safe and simple. Your Virtual Debit Card can be used wherever Mastercard is accepted.

How do I start using my Ivobank Virtual Debit Card?

1. Open your Ivobank your Account
2. Go to the 'Deposit Money' page to put money in your eWallet*
3. Go to the Account Overview page and download the Virtual Debit Card. Once your card has been downloaded you’ll see the Ivobank logo in the bottom right hand corner of your screen
4. You're ready to shop and pay online
5. At the cashier page the Ivobank Virtual Debit card will pop up automatically or double click the icon

*Until 7 January 2009 we will not charge you to fund your eWallet using your credit or debit card
